Although his club colleagues Martins, Beye and Faye have seen their African Cup of Nations campaigns come to a premature end, our remaining representative Geremi and his Cameroon side are still going strong.
Monday's quarter final went into extra time before the Indomitable Lions beat Tunisia 3-2, our man having netted his second goal of the tournament with a well-struck free kick.
The reward for Cameroon will be a semi final tie against host nation Ghana on Thursday - more to follow.
