基冈重返纽卡斯尔似乎预示着“喜鹊”的复兴，《太阳报》透露，在昨天晚上，迪福和小赖特都表示希望到基冈麾下效力，为纽卡斯尔的复兴贡献一份力量。
在再次成为纽卡斯尔主帅后，基冈将获得2000万英镑的转会费去增强球队的实力，热刺前锋迪福和切尔西边锋小赖特都是很适合基冈进攻足球风格的球员。
基冈说：“如果有新球员加盟，那么你可能会担心自己失去位置。但是在这间足球俱乐部，你应该引进优秀的球员。”

伴随着凯文基冈重掌纽卡斯尔的教鞭，纽卡斯尔全队上下重新燃起了勇气和希望。而球队老板迈克阿什利更是对基冈说，让他自由构想一个脑海中的梦幻阵容。再由迈克阿什利来帮他一一买来需要的人，组建一个货真价实的黄金阵容。

阿什利开给基冈的转会预算上没有上限，期限是未来三年。这也是基冈和纽卡斯尔的合同期限。而他这样做的原因仅仅是“为了寻找些乐趣”。

阿什利对基冈承诺道，有一笔“稳定的”资金在支持纽卡斯尔回到人们的视线中去——而纽卡斯尔的老板相信他的新教练也能够把这笔资金花得有价值。他希望能够把一些知名球员带到圣詹姆斯公园球场。

我觉得阿什利是一个比较务实的人,该花的钱他也肯花的.他默默的帮俱乐部还了不少谢胖时欠的债,谢胖真是可恶,号称大方,其实花的都不是自己的钱,一直在举债充胖子,现在的下场真是活该.
说回转会,我们现在的状况是很难吸引顶级球星来的,哪怕一流的也得比其他人更高的薪水才能挖来,像德科这样明显在走下坡路的我们也没必要争取了,这类人我们买的太多了.重点还是找些年轻点未来能成为核心的人物,像范德法特,DIEGO这类的可以争取下,其他呢可以重点考虑下德甲,荷甲,法甲中比较出众的人,我真不想再去接豪门淘汰出来的过气球星了.

至于希勒呢他的作用很明显,能够激励球队士气,带带新前锋.但说实话每个主教练请他都是有犹豫的,一旦邀他进来也等于给自己上了道紧箍咒,只要成绩一点不好用希勒取代他是顺乎民心的举动,这也正是基冈犹豫的原因,必竟他也没把握自己带的怎么样.如果没有希勒在身边的话,以他的声望短期成绩不是很好的话球迷也会多给点耐心.

我和乐浪的想法都是一样的,几乎是一致,还有一点补充,估计kk会以英格兰球员会基本班底,但以他以前的个性和人际圈,他会买来不错的球员,在fulham也能拉来老范,法国当时也算是不错的小马哥,选将他是没问题,问题在于有没有足够时间,我感觉球会高层会给他足够的支持,希望如此

Keegan has read Owen's book and said: 'I was shocked when I read it but you have to ask yourself why he wrote that. I'm delighted he's here. I love him as a person and as a player and he is one of the reasons why this job was so exciting.'

Keegan, who made Shearer a £15million world record signing 12 years ago, has yet to speak to him but it seems unlikely Shearer would quit his TV work to accept a full-time job as one of the assistants.

Keegan, who has hired former Newcastle boss Arthur Cox as an adviser, said: 'I haven't spoken to Alan yet because I have fully concentrated on the match and getting to know people.

'I want to bring in the very best and if there is a role that Alan wants and it's right, I would love to have him back. I will definitely talk to him.' Keegan's immediate priority is tonight's clash.

Midfielder Joey Barton, who is on bail, must return to his Hampshire base for a 7pm curfew so he will be unavailable.

He would have enough time to play in the FA Cup against Arsenal next week, however.

Keegan has met Barton, who is training during the day with the squad and he will stand by the former Manchester City player who has been charged with actual bodily harm.

'I can't control what has gone on before or in a courtroom,' said Keegan who had Barton as a youngster at City. 'But I will support him 100 per cent as a Newcastle player.'

Six managers since Keegan have tried and failed to end the 50-plus year wait for a domestic trophy and few, with the exception of Sir Bobby Robson, have managed to match the entertainment of the Keegan side which pushed Manchester United to the title in 1996.

Keegan admitted he was jealous every time a successor had been appointed but he was convinced to quit his Soccer Circus in Glasgow after meeting owner Mike Ashley, who first approached Harry Redknapp last week.

He said: 'Every time one came in I was saying “Wow, you can do it, you lucky man” but I also felt it could've been me. I've still got the passion, so expect anything.

'If you take away the top four, this club is as big as any. I doubt they will be quaking yet but we're one of the few clubs who can break into that and we are a challenge. We have the support and the backing.

'It's easy for the sceptics to poke fun but the finance is there and we did it before when people laughed. So watch out Alex, we're after your title. We nearly did it last time.'

Keegan has already been linked with many players, from Ronaldinho and Kaka to the more sane option of Chelsea's Shaun Wright-Phillips and Wayne Bridge.

Chairman Chris Mort will make funds available and admitted the club may even extend St James' Park if Keegan's revolution takes off.

Mort hired Keegan after firing Sam Allardyce a week earlier.

He spent weeks saying the former Bolton boss was safe before wielding the axe.

He said: 'It wasn't one final thing, it was just an accumulation. Sam and I never fell out, we felt that where the club was going was not somewhere where we wanted it to be taken. We think Kevin will take it to a different place.

'He can end the long wait for a trophy. If we play fabulous football for the next threeand- a-half years and don't win anything there will be an edge of disappointment. But there will be fun along the way.'

Dream factory re-opens

The first time was at The Gosforth Park Hotel in 1982, the second coming came at the Tyne Brewery a decade later.

Back for a third stint at NUFC, Kevin Keegan met the media inside SJP on Friday afternoon to deliver a similarly inspirational message as before.

Only two people were on the top table - Chairman Chris Mort welcoming KK with "enormous pleasure" before KK himself took questions from reporters.

His first reply was to confirm that initial contact from the club came last Thursday week, at which point he decided that he needed to meet with owner Mike Ashley.

That meeting didn't take place until Wednesday of this week, when Ashley flew back into the UK.

Dressed in club training gear, KK described his agreement to return as "an easy deal" before commenting that:

"I know the club as a player and manager and know what it’s like. I know what the fans want. I haven't had to come up and learn it. Some of the guys who haven't had that experience would have had to come and find it out.

"This is a very special club. It is not a normal football club and that's what people outside this area don't understand and never will.

"I'm the best qualified person to come here and do that to be honest with you and I’ve got the chance to show you that I can and show people and, more importantly, the fans that I can.
"I’ve got a head start on this. The job ahead doesn't scare me. When I’ve gone into other jobs there are a lot of questions to be answered. I know those questions and answers here."

KK also admitted to having thought it could have been me' when watching as other Newcastle managers were appointed over the last decade.

KK on Michael Owen: No problem with him or the comments in his book, looking forward to working with a great goalscorer.

KK on Alan Shearer:

"I haven't spoke to Alan yet, the answer to that question is that I've concentrated fully on Saturday's match.

"I've walked into a training ground I've never seen, meeting a lot of the staff for the first time. There's only four people left since I was last here and one of those was Terry Mac.

I want to bring the very best back to Newcastle united. If there is a role for Alan which he wants, I will definitely
speak to him at some stage. I would love to have him back, and we'll definitely talk."

KK on Mike Ashley and his response when he asked the owner what his ambition for the club was:

"I want to win something."

Keegan then added:

"It's possible to win a cup, it is possible for this club to break into the top four - not overnight but it's possible.

KK on his current squad:

"There are a lot of quality players here: Michael Owen, Mark Viduka and then you start to look at other players who have been at other clubs - players like Nicky Butt and Alan Smith who have won trophies with Man United. Shay Given, Damien Duff.........there is a lot of potential here.

"I want the club to be a different club from what they have experienced - they haven't seen the club at its best yet.

"The game is pretty much the same, the way people have talked you feel like you've been out the game 100 years, but I've been away three years and that time apart has maybe helped me look at things from a distance."

KK on signings:

"We're looking to fetch two or three players in before the end of the transfer window, but not just to make the numbers up - they have to be able to play with what they've got and improve what we've got."

KK on Barton:

"I know Joey. I had him at Manchester City since he was 16 or 17. I watched him in the juniors.

"I can't control what's gone on before or what goes on in the courtroom. I told him yesterday he's a Newcastle player and I will support him 100 percent. I'll help him any way I can.

"He openly says he needs help. The best people to help him are the people who know him. We know him.

"He's an excellent player and can improve. He's had some little problems but I told him he's got my full support and I've given it to him before myself and he let me down.

"Now he's got it again. I'm convinced all he wants to do is come and play for this football club."

David Ginola has warned Newcastle's fans that they should write off the remainder of this season under Kevin Keegan.

The former Magpies favourite believes that returning manager Keegan needs time to implement his own ideas at St James' Park and that it may not be until the new campaign that any impact becomes apparent.

回忆kk的执教经历,要是说他第一次纽卡执教是很成功的话,我也不多说大家都很了解,在fulham也还算比较成功,也是从低级别以很快速度带回英超,当时他也喜迎boa morta ,saha还有荷兰门神van der saar,后两个还是成为mu主力战将,经历过两次成功的执教之旅后他成为了英格兰国家队主帅,成绩上说是不太成功的,也没能踢出很灿烂足球,与当年核心之一owen产生出比较明显矛盾,他下台后接手曼城,在转会上他也还是有一定的资金保障下一直没打出他执教全盛期攻势淋漓的足球,这是我的印象,相对来讲KK在这段日子里的后段成绩是越来越平庸.也许是心灰意冷下远离了足球三年,他自己说这段淡出足球的日子里他连英超比赛都没看,大sam在纽卡经历水深火热后被解雇,KK被力请出山,重新回到SJP执教

Alan Shearer rejected the chance to become Kevin Keegan's assistant at Newcastle as he felt he would not be helping the club.

Keegan was keen to bring the Magpies' all-time leading goalscorer on board after returning to St James' Park as manager for a second time.

But Shearer felt his own personality is too similar to the former England manager and that could hinder the progress of the club.

Shearer told The Sun: "I have not snubbed anyone or anything like that. I chatted to Kevin for four hours at my house first time. Then we had another long meeting on Monday.

"Throughout the talks, all I was thinking about was what would be best for Newcastle - not what would be best for me.

"This club has given me too much for me to turn my back at a time when I might be able to help. But I don't think I would be a help right now - and I have explained that to Kevin.

"He basically told me I could come in as his assistant or in any role I wanted, but the timing is just not right."

Shearer feels his own high profile could end up being a hindrance rather than a help as Keegan tries to ensure Newcastle stay clear of relegation trouble.

"Right now I think the last thing they would need is another dominant personality, another name," he said.

"It needs one personality driving things forward at the club - and that is Kevin Keegan. It needs to be his way, and if it is I think he can turn things round. Myself and Kevin were just too similar personalities - we are both opinionated.

"We are both single-minded and have our ideas about how things should be done. That is not the best mix - you need to be different. So for plenty of reasons, I had to say no.

"I'm not saying the door is closed for ever. Just right now there is plenty to be sorted out there - and one man needs to do it and do it his way.

"All the time I will remain a fan of my club, but for now that is all."

Sir Bobby Robson has warned Kevin Keegan that he has a 'mammoth job' on his hands as he strives to pull Newcastle up the Premier League table.

The Magpies have struggled since the arrival of Keegan last month but former manager Robson is confident they will do enough to avoid relegation.

Robson has also paid tribute to Keegan for making the brave decision to return to St James' Park, but feels he could find it more difficult this time around.

Robson believes Keegan has a tricky period ahead of him until the transfer window reopens, followed by a busy summer as he attempts to rebuild the team.

"Kevin has a mammoth job all right, a really difficult job because his squad is not good enough," Robson told the Evening Chronicle.

"That is the harsh fact of the matter. He has to make do and mend until the summer, when he can put together his own team.

"That will mean retaining some, but definitely getting rid of others.

"They will not win anything this season, but equally, won't go down. I am convinced of that because of the points they have in hand over the bottom clubs.

记者雷彻报道当初他作为喜鹊救世主高调上任，一个月后他带给球队的是2平4负，无一胜绩。赛前球队大举造势，回忆11年前纽卡在他的带领下5比0大破红魔，结果是遭到对手5比1屠城。圣詹姆斯公园黯然失色，只听见曼联球迷高唱：“基冈，你带来了什么变化？”比起一个月前在老特拉福德被红魔6比0血洗，教练换作基冈带来的变化确实不大。事实上坐在看台上的前任主帅博比·查尔顿爵士对此情此景也不陌生，5年前他手下的纽卡斯尔也在这里输过6比2。其实谁做教练都没有什么区别，在所有球队中，喜鹊输得最多的对手就是曼联，丢球最多的对手也是曼联。
